Yes!
Yes! Yes! Greece won the Euro 2004!!! It's funny, isn't
it? Greece is not my favourite football team... but I'm so
happy, so as my father. But I felt sorry about C. Ronaldo.
He cried when the game was ended. He was so serious about the
match. I think C. Ronaldo will have good prospect if he keep
focus not like some football players nowadays. The
England striker, Wayne Rooney also has very good prospect, he's now
the new hero of England. David Beckham disappointed his
people, including me, one of his fans. But I still like him
very much.^_^;

I
never thought of that… tonight I was having a meeting with some cub leaders
from other scout groups. We had to
plan for the last weekend of our training.
When we started our discussion about meals.
Me, not only me, and two other leaders were so surprised.
We imagined that we were going to plan an easy list of menus.
But the other two leaders were so enthusiastic and excited about the
food. Okay, for our last training
week, we’re staying two nights and two days outdoor.
So, we’ll two mug-ups, two breakfasts, two lunches, and one dinner.
The other two leaders suggested making a Dutch oven!!!
Yes, they’re not joking. They
also suggested we should have grill salmon, chicken (for lunch) and ribs (for dinner)
Everyone
I know is out of town this summer. Some
go to England, Hong Kong, Cuba, Japan, Brazil, Beijing, U.S., New York, Florida,
Florida, Florida, Florida, Florida, … so many people going to Florida,
Disneyland… fuck me, only me is staying in Canada. I’m not saying Canada is not good. She is still lovely and many places to explore, especially in
summer time. But this year I’m
stuck in Canada for sure. Because
of my work, my endless scout leadership training, and my financial status,^_^
I hope I can get a change to go to England and Ireland this Christmas or
maybe next summer, just a short trip, perhaps?

Trip @ IKEA
Today
I’m exhausted. I was supposed to
do recruitment today. But I was
stuck with my lovely mom. Had to be
her driver the whole-day-long. I
just dropped by the recruit booth for half-and-hour long, then left. I apologized so much to my scout friends, although they are
all “friendly” and “sweet” but I felt so sorry because in the last
recruitment I forgot to come as I had a short term memory loss, just like Dory.
^_^
Anyway,
then I drove south to pick up my mom and went to IKEA.
She always complained that she “never” had chance to “go” to IKEA
‘cos my dad hates shopping and always turns her down for buying this or that.
Today, she had me to be driver so she could buy as much as she wants /
also as much as can afford… as much as the stuffs can fit in my small car. ^_^
We
bought some curtain sets, for her bedroom and my bedroom (her treat), many
accessories for decoration. I also
bought two wall shelves for only $ 2.99 ea. (they are for my dolls) and a CD
tower, ‘cos my CDs are now piled up like mountain!
I think we left at five. But
my mom’s shopping mood is still not satisfied. (smile)
We went back to north, there is a new Taiwanese supermarket, I bet many
people know which one I’m talking about.
Damn, there were loads of people inside the supermarket and outside the
supermarket.
Tonight,
my brother helped to build the CD tower.
He kept telling how genius he is.
But driving a whole day is a tired duty, same workload as my working day,
period.

Shorthand? Longhand!??
Today I started to help my colleagues to prepare agenda and write minutes, because she
is having vacation for three weeks. My
boss hoped I am okay to take over some of her tasks. He thought I had never done the “meeting thingy”
(preparation) before but I did do a lot from my last job).
When I was jotting down the notes. He
was amazed about my shorthand. He
wondered why the shorthand writing still exists.
For God’s sake, don’t you think shorthand is very convenient and more
productive? At least, he thinks it
is cool. He seems quite appreciates
I can do that. =p

Euro Fever
I
found my right eye was not alright today morning. There
was red spot all over my eye. I had to put more foundation on
the area. (Then I felt so uncomfortable because of my right
eye in the whole morning) I guessed today is not my lucky day
and my thought is correct. I just found me and my colleague
made a very small mistake, which would create a real big problem to
our customer. These two days, people in our company did not do
things smoothly. Today is the match of England and Switzerland.
I joked to my colleagues that England was going to lose it... since
my luck was so bad today.... then England won 3 to Switzerland.... I
guess my sense was not too correct... =p Tomorrow is match of
Italy and Sweden, I really Italy could win and no tie... 'cos last
match with Denmark was too boring.

Two Furious England Fans
Today, I went to barbeque at my friends' house.
They are
friends from my scout group. They're very friendly and generous
couple. We had so fun today. The couple did all the
food, that made us (probably me only=p) feel so bad, I bought a
birthday cake though. Yes, today is another friend's
birthday. There are totally 15-20 people, including their kids.
I arrived there around 3:45 p.m., they were
playing the England V.S. France match on TV. I couldn't catch
the 1st half 'cos I went to pick up the cake. However, they
were telling me England was winning, I was so excited; then, around
3 minutes before the end of the game, the result switched. Damn
Zidanne... (hahaha), he scored two goals by himself. Me
and my friends (esp. the birthday girl) were so furious (?) about
the result. We joked that we were about the sing the national anthem
and waving the England flag... just like the audience. Then
the remaining moments of the day, we both forbidden everyone saying
anything related to France... hahaha

Pink!
Phew!
My room was getting renovated last Saturday. I pulled, pushed,
kicked my whole pile of stuffs out of my bedroom. I took off
my posters from the walls, 'cos this time, my walls are getting a
new colour! My walls were used to be green; finally I got my
father's permission, I can change the walls to pink! Yes, it's
P-I-N-K. Wow, I was so excited, 'cos I always dreamt of
getting my room in pink. I love this colours so much.
Me and my father were arguing so much recently... about getting a
new car, a car for me to drive to work... but so many things
to consider, now my situation is like Kayan in few months ago...
things to consider like insurance, gas, first-hand or second-hand...
holy smoke, the gas is getting so high now, damn! Curse the
gas pumpers, the gas sellers, SHELL, ESSO, .... Kayan told me
it was a hard time while considering, once you bought the car, the
worries are gone, I hope so.

Movie maniac
I
haven't been going to theatre since early March,
actually there's no any movie I'm really interested to see.
So, better save some money until the summer movies come out.
Yes! There're lots of summer movies I'd like to watch.
Troy, Spider Man 2, Harry Potter III: Prisoner of Azkaban, Shrek 2,
Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow, The Princess Diaries II - The
Royal Engagement, King Arthur... I think I'm going to see Van
Helsing next week, not only because of Hugh Jackman. ^_^ Bridget
Jones's Diary 2 is coming this Christmas, oh, I can't wait!
I
received more gifts from my Kai-Dad. So happy, I feel so bad that Kai Dad
always gives me gifts... makes me so greedy... Oh, they are buttons from
the old uniform of Boy Scouts of Canada. Am I right? I have to use
magnifying glass to read the words. ^_^;
I
have made an agreement with my brother. If he wants to borrow my camera,
he must tidy up his bedroom and the den first. Our den is not a den
anymore, it becomes my brother's game room. His PS2 games are everywhere,
his comics, CDs, magazines, videos too... So messy, just like his
bedroom. I'm not wasting time to think about the agreement on such
trifles... I do it for his good. I know boys' bedrooms are messy but he
keeps losing his stuffs. *_*
I
created a page about something that piss me off.=p I think I become a
petty-minded person.... so I also made a song about something that make me
happy!
George
Huff is taken off from American Idol 3 on Wednesday. He sings
really good but he doesn't have many classic performance. But
I was hoping George Huff, Jasime Trias and Latoya London go to top
3. Latoya is gonna win the competition, she is ready to be a
big star. Actually, I'm quite fond of John Stevens, he is so
unique, his singing skill is still not strong enough but he has
potential, let's give him few years, he can be good, especially in
Jazz music field. However, because of William Hung, this
competition becomes less attention... I guess.

Time to change
Helped my brother to work on his
project, we took many films. But the result was too dark, I felt so bad.
I hope my brother could have time to adjust the brightness tomorrow in school.
Then I asked him to create a flash layout for my homepage, of course it has my
idea. A CD will be the return. =P

The True Idol?
 William
Hung, Hong Kong's Ricky Martin, it is the new definition of "miracle".
This fellow's CD is ranked #14 right now in Amazon.com's sales chart. I
heard the samples. This guy really can't sing, very dreadful, I must say.
But his image is very positive; he said in the CD, "I may not be the best
singer of the world, but I sing for my heart, and I sing the passion. I
enjoy what I do. Not for money, not for thing, I just enjoy singing."
In the audition of American Idol 3, he said, "I tried my best... I have no
regrets at all..." Wow, I think those words are priceless... he still
has the guts to say those things in front of the cruel Simon while everyone of
us are laughing to death. Not like Britney Spears or Christina Aguilera,
he is a role model of the teenagers. Well, you may say he's just
bullshitting on his CD, one album with 15 tracks, 11 songs and 4 speeches, what
the #$%&, waste of money! Well, different point of view. And the
way he talks is very entertaining too. This guy can make you smile.
Forget about his singing, it's funny that he is so serious about his record,
he's not joking. man. However, this guy didn't win the competition but he
wins attention. Who cares who's gonna win in American Idol.

Juno Awards 2004
Juno
Awards 2004 is finally finished on April 4. My
friend went to see the live and I chose to stay home to watch it. Me and
my father were battling for TV, he wanted to watch Ten Commandments... argh,
everybody knows the movie is broadcasted during the Easter period, every year.
Just joking, we still have two more TVs; so, no battle. Sam Roberts took
three awards home. Billy Talent won the best new group award. Nelly
collected the the best single. Nickleback got two awards, Hooray.^_^ Michael
Bublé and Sarah McLauchlan each got one award. But the most exciting part
is Alanis Morisette's ironic joke on the stage, she disrobed and revealed a
naked body suit with nipples and hair, fake of course. When she was told
not supposed to expose the nipples and hair in front of theTV, she then took off
them and pretended to be painful. Also she said the following speech,
"As
you may or may not be aware, recently in the United States, I ran into a little
problem with regards to a lyric in one my songs," Morissette told the
near-sellout audience of 17,000, referring to her latest release titled,
"Everything," which includes the lyrics, "I can be an a--hole of
the grandest kind. It was requested that I change a word in the first verse.
Well, I am overjoyed to be back in my homeland, the true North... strong and
censor-free." thanked the audience and received appreciated reaction and
applause.

Happy Children's Day!
 I
finally brought Clay Aiken's new single, "The Way / Solitaire" home.
I know it's quite late because I've been searching so many record stores and
couldn't find the single. But I still couldn't find the other single
"Invisible" elsewhere. That's too crazy. It's out of stock
in Amazon. I think I deserve that, there was a pre-order for the two
singles in Amazon, I didn't order it...
My
2004's first guilty pleasure is Hilary Duff. =D I am an old lady who
is a fan of a teen idol, she is only 16! What am I thinking (smile)?
Anyway, I only buy her CDs but I'll never join her fan club... I think
that's too crazy to me. ^_^ I know she can't sing very good but she is a
sugar sweet girl, not like Britney Spears... Opps, my friends like her. =p
I got allergy last week. It was so itchy. The
red spots are everywhere on my body even my FACE... yeaw... I scratched
and scratched
the whole days and nights. I couldn't sleep very much. My mother
said I was like a dancing ant on the frying pan (smile). Where is my
refinement, hehehehe, j/k... It was since the midnight of Wednesday.
I saw the doctor and I took one tablet of Reactine. Damn, it was like hell
those days. I had to put make up on my face when going out, 'cos my face
was like a "punched face"...
I have finished the presentation on Italian
class last week, phew.
Hey, I didn't feel itchy while doing the presentation, it was weird but very
lucky, God blessed me!^_^ We must speak Italian completely during the
presentation. Well, I think I was doing fine, I hope. ^_^ We will do
oral exam next week... I'm so scared... Honestly, I feel it's not yet
possible to talk Italian freely with Italians at this moment... still long way
to go... *sigh* Am I too self-conscious?

Sombre Sunday
Toronto
is not safe anymore. It's a very sad day to everyone in Toronto.
Cecilia's body (actually her skeletal) was found after the four months missing.
That means her body has been abandoned there for quite a long time, while we
were still praying for her. The news obviously stunned the Chinese
community, even the whole GTA community. It's another tragedy after Holly
Jones'. She is so angelic. How could people seize the life of this
sweet kid. It's so terrible. My father told me he heard (those are
rumours) some stories about the girl's family background. It's obviously
done by someone the Zhang family knows. There's a Chinese phrase say
"son pays off dad's debt". Well, I am not saying there's some
problem about the family 'cos I don't know them... But an incident must has a
reason behind that; however, the girl is innocent, she should be exempt from the
hidden evil plan, she doesn't deserve that. And the Canadian cops have no
fucking clues who and why the people kidnapped the girl. Julian Fantino
should go home. If I have time, I will go to the girl's funeral.
Back
to happy things... I am not good at writing sad thing actually... Evgeni
Plushenko is the man again. The three-time World Champion and three-time
European Champion on Male Figure Skating. But his hair is still so
funny.^_^; Well, you can say he's cute.
I really like the performance by the pair from Russia,
Tatiana Navka and Roman Kostomarov. They were playing with the funny and
wicked Austin Power background music. They won the gold medal. Also,
I like the pair from China. The music is so emotional with their
performance. But I really love the costumes of the German pair skaters.
Yesterday,
I went to Fairview's H & M. Holy smoke, there were loads of people,
some clothes were left on the floor. Well, the prices are quite cheap but
the clothes are not as good I expected and I didn't feel interesting in the
clothes, and the materials are so bad. I only bought some knee tights.
But there were still many people buying more than two or three clothes. I
think H & M is like European's Old Navy. I think H & M still has
the market in Canada, will become a big competitor of North American fashion
franchises, like GAP, Old Navy, or Club Monaco; because H & M has much
reasonable price and it has European style. You know, people adore
European style. (So do I...) American styles are too dull and boring.

Oooooooh my foot!
 I
fell yesterday at home. I was organizing my notes with blinder in my room.
I was going downstairs to send a fax. I slipped on some papers, my left
heel stepped on the blinder, and the rings are opened for me!! Right cut
into the rings. I got two holes in my heel... Damn, it was so
painful, I was holding my left foot and rolling on the ground... So, I had to
skip the evening class. Was I bleeding? Yes! Till now, after
my work today, and found out it's still bleeding a little bit... scary, eh?
However, I feel better today, at least I don't need to use my toes to walk...
I highly recommend Jyoshi Jyoni Kakubou. A Chinese
traditional instrumental band from China. They are so versatile. No
wonder why they're so popular (dai-ninki) in Japan right now and SMAP mimicked
them in their show... In their new album, they performed many famous
songs. They transferred them with Chinese traditional instruments into
magnificent music. The songs like Dr. Zhivago's theme, songs of Teresa
Deng, enya, and Momoe Yamaguchi.
I changed a new Audrey picture on the main page...

Sayonara, sayonara!
 Well,
well, well... my two friends, Harvey and Chris are leaving Canada today,
going to back to their home country. We spent a whole night
together in a karaoke lounge yesterday. No, not only me and the
two guys, and loads of people there, around twelve people. It was
quite fun, I didn't sing a lot last night, I preferred to sit down like
some other people.
We
left the place at 2 a.m. It was chilly outside. But we
chit-chatted a little bit. Finally, before we got frozen on the
street, we had to say goodbye and gave the two boys a hug. Chris
was so funny that he lifted up Eriko so high, must have scared her
away... ^_^ Here, I wish the two good luck and safe, as always.
Last Saturday, I went window shopping with my mom
in downtown. Club Monaco has placed some new collection. I
must say Club Monaco is my favourite fashion store in Canada, many
others suck, except MEXX and Bluenotes of course. I adore the grey
skirt (viv skirt) so much. It costs $109... so expensive!
I'll wait until they dropped the price and hope there're not many people
buy it... hehhee
One
thing happened last week, I found out someone touched my Beauty and
Beast waterball, Belle's left arm is gone!!! Then I found her arm
under my bed... but her hand is still missing!!! Who is the
criminal?? I have glued her arm but it broke my heart... (sobbing)

That's Entertainment!
 Wow!
Finally got a chance to see "That's Entertainment Part I &
II"!!! I always wanted to own them but they're out of stock.
I hope MGM will produce DVD and I'll be the first one to buy it! The two videos both have my
favourite, Gene Kelly! Wowow! Of
course, there's Gene Kelly in the third part too. But I heard it is not as good as the
previous twos (but I still want to see it). Everyone says "That's Entertainment! Part
I" is the best of the three. Part II is great too but it
only followed the influence from the Part I; when people want to see
more flashbacks and valuable moments that they have forgotten...
In "That's Entertainment Part I",
it is narrated by following stars: Fred Astaire, Bing Crosby, Gene Kelly, Judy Garland, Debbie
Reynolds, Elizabeth Taylor. Mickey Rooney, James Stewart, Donald
O'Connor. Actually I like Donald O' Connor very much in "Singin'
in the Rain". He's absolutely marvellous! He can dance,
he can sing, he can act, he can make you laugh, he can play musical instruments, he can also
make different funny faces; his face is like a piece of clay. He
must be kids' favourite at that time. ^_^ From my limited
knowledge, Donald didn't lead many movies and acted in most B
movies. He can still make his career big if he keeps playing the
sidekick or adolescent role... maybe the people were just blind to his
skills???
In Part II, it is hosted by Fred Astaire and Gene
Kelly. Of course, the old Fred Astaire and old Gene Kelly... the
old but still-handsome Gene Kelly, hahahha!!! They sang and danced
"That's Entertainment" by introducing different famous stars,
great musicals, and unforgettable scenes. Just Jane Powell is
marvellous at dancing.
Last
few days, I borrowed a book from library. Our sophisticated Audrey
Hepburn is again named one of greatest stylish Hollywood stars in Style's
of the Stars (edited by People weekly, published in 2001). She
is ranked #1 greatest 50 style setters. Actually I don't really
care about the rankings, they are stupid and not accurate, especially
they come from different newspapers or magazines with different points
of view. But when they talks about fashion (and Audrey of course
^^), it always draws my attention. But I must say the majority of
the celebrities are Western people, and mostly are in U.S.. How
about the other side of the planet? Europe (okay, they say Lady Di.)?
Asia? Well, it does talk a little bit about some Asians... Michelle Yeoh
and Zhang Zi Yi in Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon... >o<

What a movie!
 I
found there's one thing that is different with my friend, Kayan.
Our idea about movie. When we were talking about movies last
night, while travelling to badminton. She said she likes reading
critics before watching a film. She even visited Rottentomato. ^_^
I'm different, I don't read critics before watching a film. I
don't want to be spoiled. But I prefer to read critics after I saw
the film, I can see how other people's reaction and comment.
She lent me "Midnight in the Garden of Good
and Evil", played by Kevin Spacey and John Cusack, directed by
Clint Eastwood. The movie disappointed both of us. The movie
moves too slow, I fall
asleep in the early part. But I must say the songs are very good.
They are written by John Mercer. I like the theme song. The story is a little bit odd to
me, perhaps I will
find out what happened by reading its novel. In my opinion, Kevin
Spacey acts very well in the film, he shines... and his accent, I think
he wants us to believe he is one of the Savannah citizens. ^_^ I
give this movie a B.
My
friend borrowed me two Alfred Hitchcock's movies (DVD), Psycho and Rear
Window (which is my fav. AH's film). She thinks Rear Window is
better than Psycho. She doesn't think Pyscho was very scary
enough. But I dare say Pyscho was a great triller in the 60's,
when there were not too many thriller came out. Pyscho is a
pioneer of thriller in Hollywood. That's why Pyscho is still named
the greatest thriller (of Hollywood) at all time. And Alfred
Hitchcock is still ranked No.1 master of thriller.
That's quite interesting topic to talk about.
My friend likes to find some "not very hit" movies to watch.
I don't, it doesn't mean I dislike those kind of movies. I'm
just too lazy searching for them. ^_^
I joked that if we go back to 60's and suppose we
haven't seen the modern thrillers or some Donny Yu's films? (smile)
We must be some of the people who were screaming in the theatre!
"No, Lila, don't go upstairs!"

New hairdo!
I've
got my hair cut yesterday... Oh my God! I lost my precious
hair!... they were so long, cover my whole back and now they are right
on my shoulders... it was my parents... they murmured about my hair; I
was so sick and tired of their sound (hahaha) so I went to the barber
shop. Oh yes, yesterday is the hair cut day! Every single
member of my family had a new hair cut. Weird...
My heart was bleeding when I saw my hair on the floor. ^_^; And my
hair stylist was so fucking retarded... he said like, "how could
you keep the hair so long,... blablabla, how long you hadn't cut your
hair (since last December!)... this is my big project... blablabla, I
like to cut people's hair..." So retarded, eh? =p Now I
can't even curl my hair... I swear, I will never cut my hair in the
future two years, just want my hair back! Hahaha...
My scout group won eight trophies from Kub Kar
Rally last Saturday. Although none of our kids won the speed race
but we won the design competition! Didn't know my group has so
many potential artists... =p Hidden dragons, crouching tigers?
(smile) Wow! Everybody went home so excited! ^_^
I got Royal Duty, finally... it was 30% off and
an extra 10% off because I am the member. ^_^ Let's see if Paul
Burrell's the bastard or the real loyal servant... =p
No
BS (hehehe), L'Arc~en~Ciel is finally back. Listened their new
single, READY STEADY GO. It is a happy song.^_^ They're gonna
release another new single and album next month. Good for theml!
Gonna be a busy year for Laruku in 2004. ^_^
I forgot to thank Kayan in the last journal
because she brought me to Josh Groban's concert. Love ya.
She'll know it, 'cos she read my homepage, my loyal reader... hahahaha

You raise me up, Josh! =p
 Just
got back from Josh Groban concert. It was totally awesome.
Especially Josh, he did a marvellous job. I was quite worried if
he is fine after the illness (respiratory infection) last couple
weeks... the person sitting beside me said, "it's exactly like the
CD!" ^_^ My friend and I arrived at Air Canada Centre at 7:45
p.m., it wasn't late at all because many people were still waiting
outside to get into the concert. It wasn't difficult to find our
seats. The show was started at 8:15 p.m. (if my watch is accurate
'_^). There was a 20 minutes-intermission between the show.
The show was about two hours long. There were some booths selling
Josh's merchandizes, such as: T-shirts, postcards, photos, concert
booklets, etc. Me and my friend bought the concert booklet.
It costs 20 bucks and it is so thin! =D I think it's still fine, it's
collectible. The lady sitting next to me asked us if the booklet
is worth of it... It is! If I didn't buy the booklet tonight, I'm
definitely sure I will regret! =D There were also some people
selling tickets and Josh's photos, of course they are all illegal, buy
them If you trust the people,... hahaha
I
was excited when Josh introduced University of Toronto Gospel Choir
Team. Cool! The best song I loved most tonight was
"Remember when it rained", Josh was playing piano, live! ^_^
I almost jumped out but my jaw did open when Josh
fell off some stairs! Ouch! He was cute that he made fun
about that afterwards. He joked that he was sleeping. I
remember he was performing "all luce del sole". It was
great because he didn't miss any note, smiled and kept singing. So
professional.
I didn't really remember the whole song list Josh
has performed tonight. But the first song he performed was "oceano",
then "my confession' (I hope I'm right). He also two songs
which are not his songs, one is "This is my December" (is it
the song name? =p). He also performed: "me
mancherao (il postino)", "alejate"
, "per te", "broken vow", "un amore per semore",
"let me fall", "remember when it rained", "all
luce del sole", "gira con me", "caruso", "vincent",
"you raise me up", and the very last song "never let
go". Those are songs I can remember, sorry.
I
always hoped Josh could perform "cinema paradiso (se)" and
"canto alla vita". But who would duet with Josh?
Andrea Corrs? ^_^ But this time, the special guest, Lucia
Micarelli (string conductor) played so beautiful with her violin.
It
was funny that when Josh finished "you raise me up", he said
goodbye and said thank you to us all; he left. People stood up....
waiting if Josh will come back to the stage... yes, he came back to the
stage and sang another song... he finished the song and left the stage.
Some people thought the concert is really finished and left! Me
and my friend knew it wasn't finished yet so our butts were still
sticking to the seats... =p Hey, the curtains hasn't closed and the
light was still on. But some people did leave.... when the music
started again, Josh came back and singing... I think some, some people
returned, they smiled and found a seat to sit down. That was a
funny thing... to watch (so evil I am). Another funny thing is,
Josh didn't mention his good friend, Zach, while introducing the band?
=D
The security asked me to open my purse and my
camera was in it... I thought I was passed then he called me back and
told me I am not allowed to take picture. I said I understand,
then he led me go... I went and =p... (smile) Honestly, I did not
intend to take pictures during the concert, I was planning to take some
outside with my friend... when I realized there were so much flashing
during the show... I took a few pictures only because the security
guards were looking around and so near my rows... Also I had to enjoy
the show... However, the pictures didn't turn out good... it's still
okay to me, 'cos the picture is already stored in my memory. I
won't forget it... if Josh will open a concert again in Toronto in the
future, I'll come back.^_^

Céline in TVA
How was your Valentine's Day, everyone?
Good or bad? So-so? ^_^
I didn't go out to celebrate since I do not have
a boyfriend this year. =p Shame on me? Nah, don't worry about me, I
enjoy being single. Can you smell the fresh air of freedom (smile)?
Anyway, but I got few Valentine's Day greeting cards and chocolates,
also received from my scout members... they are so sweet. ^_^
Just watched Céline Dion: 1 File & Types
on TVA. Céline Dion talked about her career, latest album, her son, and
her hubby, René... Her hair is so blond right now and she looks so old,
hehehe...
The
audition for new roles for Harry Potter: GOF has been started.
The auditions attracted thousand and thousand of people.
Especially, the Cho Chang audition which held on Feb. 7. There
were 3,000 hopefuls have queued in the street of London under such a
cold weather, just for the part of Cho Chang, the most popular girl of
Howgarts and the most beautiful girl in Harry's eyes (smile).
Since
Cho is an Asian, specifically, she is a Chinese, and a Cantonese too =p,
you can tell by her name; so the film makers ask for South Asian girls
only... perhaps the lucky one will film a kiss scene with Daniel
Radcliffe in the fourth film.. (evil grins)? Wonder if my cousins
(in England) auditioned for the part of Cho Chang too. They like
Harry Potter! ^_^
The film makers are also looking for a fresh
actor for the Viktor Krum, the Bulgarian Quittditch player, also a date
of Hermione in chapter 4. The audition took place in Bulgaria.
Hey, how about the role for Fleur Delacour, Bill and Charlie? But
I'm more interested who's gonna be Cedric. ^_^ Actually, I think BoA
looks a lot like Cho. She is sweet and cute, also has a long hair.
BoA just took crowns of "Most influential Asian Artist 2003"
and "Most Popular Korean Artist" at MTV Asia Awards last
Saturday in Singapore. Linkin Park went home with two awards for
Best Video and Best Rock Act. ^_^ Best Inspiration Award goes to Anita
Mui, a tribute to her contribution to Asian music industry. A
private video by Lady Di will be broadcasted on U.S. TV... can't believe
she attempted to miscarry by falling stairs while carrying Prince
William. Endless shocking royal secrets coming out...

My friend's ghost story
Last
night, I had dinner with my friend. We had Chinese fondu... I
should call it's hot pot. It was a happy night. It was
especially happy when we made fun on Asima and Amy, hahaha.. Then we
went to other place for some desert... We were talking a lot of
stuffs... then our friend told us his ghost story. Quite spooky
one. Because it is his true story. It was happened not too
long time ago. He and his friends enjoyed a whole night for
karaoke in a shopping mall. Until the karaoke lounge closed at 3
a.m., they left. They then went to the basement to pick up their
cars. When they were walking in the basement, they suddenly heard
some noise of children playing and laughing... I think they heard
laughing, can't remember if my friend has mentioned... My friend said
they didn't see any kid around at that time, the noise was so weird to
them, it came from place neither far nor near.... do you think there
were kids still playing in the parking lot, in a shopping mall that had
all store closed? At 3'o clock in the morning? Think about it...
he and his friends were so thrilled, they immediately jumped into their
cars for home! And my friend didn't look like joking... Spooky?
Although I'm a Catholic and I had never met these
such things before, but I believe there're kinds of these things around
in this world. Some people say you see ghost because either
your eyes can see them or you were out of luck at that time.
My fanlisting page is getting long... I'm so
crazy and joined so many... I'll improve the page with php...

So Loverly
 Wow!
I am excited! I just bought My Fair Lady's new DVD. It is
just released few days ago. I was going to pre-order it from
amazon before it comes out, but I didn't have anything else to buy and
I've already owned a copy of the movie (mine is a video tape). Beside it
didn't say what is inside the package... until a week later, I walked
into HMV. I saw the DVD was there.. my devil inside kept telling
me, "You must get it! You must get it!!! Until it's too late!"
(Smile) Finally I brought the DVD home. phew...
The
DVD is a two-disc special edition. I bought it because... first
reason is money, I must say; second reason is the 40th anniversary of
the film. Okay, back to the topic, the package has two discs
inside; the package is beautiful, full of pink, my favourite colour! The
disc one is the film, which is restored; also contains a commentary by
the art director, singer (Marni Nixon), and the restorers. The disc two
contains alternate Audrey Hepburn's vocal versions; documentary by
co-star, Jeremy Brett; Hollywood premiere and award ceremonies
that I, the young generation would never experience it (smile); comments
from Rex Harrison, Andrew Llyod Webber, and Martin Scorsese; picture
galleries of sketches, posters, production stills (Audrey's pictures!);
theatrical trailers including My Fair Lady, Camelot, Gigi, Brigadoon.
I high recommend this DVD, it's gonna be every Audrey Hepburn's fan's
forever collection! ^_^ If you are not a fan of Audrey, I still
recommend you to watch this film. It is a classic. The story
is funny, costumes are beautiful, and the music are music! One word, Loverly!
Also, I saw Chitty Chitty Bang Bang's DVD just
came out... but I didn't buy it... you know... I want to save some
money... ^_^
Valentine's Day is coming, so I added a page
related to it. Take a peek if you're too bored. ^_^
I'm gonna see Josh Groban in February 19!
Wow! Can't believe it! ^_^

Anger
 Last
Friday, I was so mad at my friend's brother... he was so rude to me and
my other friend. I know, no one is prefect... I don't
understand, my friend is so much different with her brother. She
is so nice and his brother is so... can't think of any word to describe
him. I emailed to my friend once I got back to home. I told
her I was so angry... short message... didn't mention his brother's
name... I also ranted to my brother; my brother then told me some
shocking things. Yes, he also said something harsh to my brother.
But my brother was not angry at all.
When
My friend read my email, she replied me at once. She thought I was
mad at somebody else. I then replied her it was her brother.
Thanks my friend for standing my side. She agreed that her brother
was a jerk. umm... He was like a mad cow, provoking people around,
indeed... That night, that guy was commenting so much on me, saying how
arrogant I am (actually I'm not...=p), he also said my jacket is old and
dirty, yaniyaniya, whole bunch of rubbish, go mind your own $%^&ing
business, I don't give a dame on your comment... My friend told me
that he even bothered her boyfriend, with no reason, throwing slipper to
him. If I'm the boyfriend, I would throw the slipper into dog
shit... hahaha... I'm thinking his face now... My friend and I spent
almost three hours talking on phone last night... we both ranted
about that guy so much. Now I feel so much better~ Anyhow,
I'd avoid socializing with him as much as I could...
Wow... I love Givenchy's Haute Couture
Fall-Winter 2003 Collection. So elegant.. Its Spring-Summer 2004
Collection is gorgeous too.
Recently
I'm so into 80's music now. Want to find 80's records, like Duran
Duran, Tears for Fears, Culture Club, Matchy, Stevie Nicks, Akina Nakamori, and
Checkers etc. Although I listened countless songs from 80's, but I
don't own many of their records. It was not possible to buy record
at age of 5 or 6, am I right? (smile) I'm also looking for more
classic movies, especially in the golden age. Man, I'm crazy...
If you've already noticed, I love oldies a lot. Like Audrey
Hepburn, Momoe Yamaguchi, Gene Kelly, Grace Kelly, antiques, Breakfast
at Tiffany's, Pet Shop Boys... "Ah'm a crazy girl ah'm!" ^_^;
(you'd understand if u have watched My Fair Lady)
Saw Clay Aiken in Jay Leno show... he's so
cute.^_^

American Idol is back!
Just came back from the camp.
Think my
friends were as tired as me from the camp. However, it was fun
because it is my first winter camp. Such a domestic kid I am...
^_^ Although it was my first time but I didn't feel strange about
it and I just loved it! ^_^ But I didn't sleep well night before
the camp, 'cos I was so afraid to forget bringing any thing for the
camp... Anyhow, It was such a great opportunity for me to get to know
more people in my scout group, especially my members. We seemed
getting along very well. Especially when we were taking photos
together in the pantry.^_^ I can also remember the snow fight with
Kayan, Orson, and Vic. I never knew they played as hypered as
me... (smile)
I also met up my friend early last Friday, right
before the camp. Her trip was as rush as usual. She came
last Thursday and leaving in Saturday afternoon. Due to the
limited time, or you can say the weather was so damn cold. -30 c. So, we didn't go many places; we stayed in the mall whole
afternoon. I left and she went back to hotel at 3:30.
American Idol
Season 3 is coming next week! It means the stupid show, The Simple Life ends... Do you think AI is too
much and will some more talented ppl like Kelly, Clay, or Ruben come
out? ^_^
Recently I'm so sick and tired of one guy's
act. He is so paranoid, he thinks I like him... He keeps calling
me; of course, I never answered his phone. Is he too dumb that he
doesn't understand my feeling? Help, please... I don't want
another Mr. J.C.
I've just finished the Sabrina's
page. I'm still considering which classical movie I'm going to do
next. Maybe Roman Holiday or Breakfast at Tiffany's.
I don't know... Or a page about Edith Head?

A NEW YEAR
It's
2004!! I don't want to waste time too much this year just as I did last
year. I am 20 something already, and I still haven't done anything
big, haven't contributed anything to the society, I think I'm one of the
losers (smile). Well, at least I made some people laugh... I know
everyone has a mission to come to the world, they must finish the
mission before they leave the world. I know I'm gonna find my own
mission. Anyhow, back to subject... I hope I will find a new
job very soon, get into a new environment;
save some money for the trip to England, my life is too boring, need
something new to fill up my world; keep my body healthy; finish my novels; re-learn my
Italian, I have forgotten many words... Come si dice questo in
italioano...... ^_^ Last year, we had so many unhappy things
happened. SARS, war on IRAQ, earthquake in Iran, Mad Cow, the
blackout in North America, many things can't count... also deaths of
Maurice Gibb, Leslie Cheung, some legendary Hollywood stars like Gregory
Peck, Katherine Hepburn, Bob Hope, famous country singer, Johnny Cash,
actor, John Ritter, and Asian diva, Anita Mui, who is just died of
cancer last week. Do you have any good prediction for you or this
world this year?
My
Kai Dad talked to me today, concerning about the internet's
security. He's right... maybe I have put too many personal
stuffs. Yes, I am always considering this issue. My site's
only reader is my friends only, I never want my site will be be used on
some "dirty ways" by some "dirty people". So,
I decided to take down some big-face photos, to avoid any inconvenience
to my friends and myself. I know my friends still want to see
"photos", so I'm going to shrink the photos as safer as I can.
(smile)
