The Unforgettable Anita
 Well,
I changed the layout again. Since Christmas has left so suddenly
(smile), there's no reason to keep the Christmas layout any longer. ^_^
Anita
Mui, a very best friend of Leslie Cheung, aka the only pop diva in Hong
Kong, died of cervix cancer (at age 40) today. I heard the news
from my mom, her colleagues told her about that. I still can't
believe now, 'cos I haven't found any news about her death.
However, my friends said the radio keeps talking about her right now.
I though it was a rumour. I still can remember few years ago,
there was picture of Hyde, showed he was died in car accident, later
proved it was fake.
If
you've already noticed, Leslie is one of my favourite singers. He
just died on April 1, this year.
So
sad when hearing so many innocence lost their life from the earthquake
in Iran last Friday. There are too many bad things happened this
year, hope to see more happier things next year. The world is
still beautiful and hopeful. Good luck everyone and see you next
year.^_^

Merry Christmas
everyone!
 Wow!
It's Christmas! It was probably too late to upload the Christmas
layout. Anyway...
Christmas
is always my favourite festival in a year. Every year, me and my
family has a Christmas dinner. We have turkey, steak, pork chop,
salad, spaghetti, cakes,... for the dinner. Me and my brother
decorate the Christmas tree, put the gifts and cards surrounded the
tree. Yes, we do this every year, I know it is boring but it's so
warm to do the family activity together.
Peter
Pan is aired today. I saw the trailer, it looks like a movie for
teens rather than an old people like me. (smile) But I'll watch it
'cos Peter Pan is one of my favourite thing. ^_^ However,
I'm not planning to watch it today, I'm gonna stay at home in Christmas.
I still recommend some movies you should watch in this holiday: 1. Love
Actually (for dating couple), 2. In America (for everyone), 3. Peter Pan
(for family), 4. Cheaper by Dozen (for family), and 5. Mona Lisa Smile
(for girls).

Happy Birthday to Me!
 I
must admit that I'm one year older again... To my friends, Thank
you so much for coming to my Birthday Dinner last Saturday; I had so
much fun enjoying the dinner and movie with all of you.
I didn't expect you gals kindly gave me so many birthday gifts!
^_^ I hope you all enjoyed
the dinner and the movie.
Thanks
Karen, Angela, and Ivy for Ryan Malcolm's new CD
I was going to buy it and you SAVED my money!
Thank you so much! The
CD is very good-listening.
Thanks
Yuki and Asima for the lucky Japanese dolls.
They are so adorable. Yes,
I need lucky, 'cos I was so out of luck this year! ^_^
Thanks
Amy for the beauty care set. I
was going to save more money on more clothes next year so I'm gonna
steal my mom's lotion. (smile) Even
though you couldn't come to my dinner, I won't blame you.
I wish you had fun from the ballet show.
Thanks
for Kayan's brother, Kaon for coming to the dinner, even though I only
met him for couple times. He's
a funny guy. ^_^
The
last but not least, Thank you, Thank you, the sweet Kayan for hosting
the dinner and the yummy Birthday cake.
The food was great and the cake was so big.
I'm gonna gain “n” kilograms! ^_^
And the another birthday gift I'm going to receive (evil grins)!
You helped me to meet my future husband, Josh Groban.
(muwhaaaaa)
Also,
thanks Kai Dad’s present. The badges are gonna be included in my precious collection.
They are so rare. ^_^ Thanks Kenny too, the present is so handy
for me going outdoor.
Anyhow,
I wish you all have a wonderful Christmas and a great New Year!
Be wealthy, healthy, and happy! ^_^
And,
Big Hugs to you guys!
P.S.:
Finally watched Lord of the Rings’ last chapter yesterday.
The movie was great. I
cried in the scenes of Frodo’s suspicion on Sam and the separation of
the Hobbits and Frodo. Very touching. I
think Sean Astin was acting great in this chapter.
Too bad, the movie didn’t mention about the ending of Eowyn and
Faramir, who end up became a couple. Well, maybe they mentioned
that in DVD of extended version. ^_^

The Sharon Osbourne Show
Today
in Sharon Osbourne Show, they had Josh Groban as a talking and
performing guest. Wow, Josh played the romantic Italian song,
"Per Te". Too bad Sharon couldn't interview Josh because
she is still staying with her husband in London. So, the show had
D. L. Hughley as a guest host. D. L. was so funny, asking some
Josh embarrassing questions. Funniest moment was when D. L.
playing the violin to Josh, look at Josh's expression, I think he was shuddering...
I know Josh, D. L. really plays horrible! ^_^
And,
I like Sharon's giveaway goodies.^_^
Get well soon, Ozzy! Rock and Roll!
P.S.: Heard Saddam was captured yesterday... hope
the U.S. and the new Iraq government will find a best way to manage this
issue. No matter how, I totally disagree about death sentence.

Ryan Malcolm's free concert this
Wednesday
Finally, I uploaded the section I made for my
friend, Kayan. ^_^ I'm glad that she doesn't hate it
(smile). I know she doesn't like pink or red, so I made the page
in blue.
Ryan Malcolm was performing in Toronto Dundas
Square yesterday, but I had something else to do in the morning. I
know it was a free concert, it was too bad, even though I'm not crazy
about him. I saw him performing live before, he's a good
singer. My friends said his other competitor had no match with him
in the final so he won the contest... I agreed so.
Ozzy had a serious bike accident this
Monday. He broke eight ribs and a bone in his neck. I was
shocked when my brother told me. However, he woke up now and
starting talking. That's good to hear about that. ^_^ He's
our favourite character in The Osbournes.
Year 2003 is coming to the end, I still
remember the wish I made in the New Year Eve; sadly that my wish hasn't
come true. There're so many things I planned have not done yet,
like finishing my novels, saving money for travel and study, blablabla...
What the heck I've done this year??? (smile) There were tears and
laughter, and I'm still me.
Wow! Peter Pan and the last chapter of
The Lord of the Rings are comnig soon!!! Can't wait to see them.

Burn it up! (smile)
I
almost set my house on fire today!
No, it was
not too serious
actually. (smile) I was cooking today afternoon, planning to boil
some vegetables with a saucepan... My friend called me suddenly;
she kept on talking to me, I know I was cooking of course. So I
hanged up at once, it was a little bit too late already, 'cos the bottom
of the saucepan was burnt and the aluminum surface melt!!!
$%^&!! I think I am Kelly Osbourne, the wobbler of the
house... *_* Yes, the saucepan is history. I'm gonna find
another saucepan for my family.
The picture right-hand side is a special edition for celebrating the
50th anniversary of Roman Holiday... I found it from Amazon Japan! It
costs 8,330 yen!!! Look how gorgeous it is! ^_^ I hope I can
have one... Click here to view its larger view.
P.S.: Since my friend, Kayan sent me her
own profile, quite long though, I'm going to make a section for
her! Got her permission already.^_^ Beside, it's my mom's
birthday today! Happy Birthday, Mom!

Fight
I was so pissed off
at my Dad two days ago. My brother was visiting his friend's
house, he needed a ride back to home. It was 10 p.m., I knew
my father was very tired from work, so I said I will drive and told
him continue watching TV. Before I went, I had to clean up the
dishes. He said some harsh words to me, something like I was
trying to delay, pretending to be busy 'cos I acutally did not want to drive,
blablabla.... I was like "what the @f^&? you're
talking about?", I was
the person to suggest to drive, why did I have to pretend to be a
jerk like that? Eventually, I still went to pick up my
brother. Even my mom thought he was going too far... I
understand he was very tired that night, but he shouldn't have to say that.
That night, we didn't talk to each other.
Anyway, next day, we both were making joke at each other as usual. =^o^=

Ticket to Josh
Groban!
There are 32 more days to
come until my
birthday, but I just received my first birthday
present from my friend, Kayan. It is a concert ticket of Josh
Groban. Last couple weeks, I was still looking for someone to go
to the concert with me in February. Now, I have Kayan to go
with me! I love her! ^_^ Thank you so much! I'm gonna see
Josh Groban!!!! Wow! I can't believe it! ^o^ Her
boyfriend is gonna kill me! (smile)
My another friends' van was stolen last couple weeks. It was the third
time they lost the van. Yes, the same van. ~_~; Now, they found their
van again... for heaven's sake... think it was probably the same person
to steal the van...

Some thoughts
Well, Josh Groban's new CD finally
comes out. No doubt, I bought it when it came out on the first
day. The CD of course did not disappoint me. It is the
wonderful follow-up to his debut CD. The songs
are phenomenal. "You Raise Me Up" can touch your
heart. ^_^ "Oceano" is so grand.
But there's one thing quite
disappointed me this week. I saw two movies. One was
Love Actually which was interesting, full of humour. Colin
Firth is so cute.^_^ I like Emma Thompson in the movie and
Bill Nighy was so hilarious. Another one I saw was Matrix -
Revolution. It is the third and the last part in the trilogy.
It is also the worst part. I
am not saying the movie is really bad, just not exciting to
me. By the way, where is the facial expression on the casts'
face?
My best friend, Goko's just got a new date (the one with thick eyebows)!^_^ I'm so happy for her.
My another friend, she just broke up with her boyfriend last weekend and back
together again this week. Arghh... no comment, just wish her luck.
How about me? Forget it. I don't care anymore... am I too
picky? ^_^;
I'm so sad that I couldn't find a person to go to Josh Groban's concert
with me. Some ppl are busy, some ppl don't even know who's JG, and
one never give me reply...

Back from Camping
New layout! Finally... the layout is as simple as usual... so
it didn't have to take me too much time... quite a lot though. Just
came back from camp. I followed the scout group to Bruce Peninsula.
Honestly, the two-days hiking was killing me.=p I was so exhausted after the hiking,
well, not only me of course. Anyway, the trip was fun. The view of
Georgian Bay was superb. Especially, the cove. Also visited Blue
Mountain and Scenery Cave. (did I name it wrong?)
Josh Groban's new CD "Closer" and No Doubt's song collection will be released in
November. Must get.

It has been long time since I updated the homepage. When I took a look at the page again today. I just found out there're so many ad popped up, making me dizzy.*_* So, I decided to delete all the frame, to decrease as less ad as possible.
I will change the layout in the future. It looked boring to me
already...^_^;
However, I won't complain about what the server have done to my

Love Wendy
One of my friends, Wendy came visited me last week, from the west side of Canada. I haven't been seeing her for almost four years! But time
didn't change our friendship. We still had a great time together. We had shared the things happened to both of us in last four years.
I brought her to tour around the city of Toronto. I wasn't surprised that she liked the place and especially the food. She said
the food in Toronto are cheap and delicious. I totally agree with her.
Next week, she is going to study in Vancouver, I wish all the best for her. And I look forward her another visiting with the
Soh-sisters.^_^

Hospital again
I
have been hospitalized again. I stayed for three days. This time, I was taking a radioactive treatment. It was just fine.
I had a room JUST FOR MYSELF, which was great.^_^ Because I was radioactive to other people during the three-days treatment, the
nurses and doctor must had extra protection when entering my room. I was only allowed to have one visitor per day, but it
was still fine to me. I had my own things to spend the time, I did writing, reading, listening to music. Sometimes I also
spent the whole afternoon to watch the view of Scarborough while listening to music... never thought Scarborough is so beautiful.
So many trees out there and the sky was clear and nice in the three days. The nurses probably thought I was bored to death, 'cos
I never rang the bell for help, but they kept reminding me about the service.(smile)
You may think I quite enjoyed staying in the hospital. yes, I almost I was on vacation... BUT, remember, I was taking radioactive
treatment, that means I received something inside my body. The thing was sometimes dreadful. I wanted to throw up. Luckily, I
took medicine when I felt sick. Second thing was the FOOD. The food was yuck, it made my stomach "moving up and down". I didn't
eat much in the three days.
I only drank fluid and ate candies. Even when I think about the food (from hospital) now, I feel sick too.
I just hope that I don't have to stay in hospital anymore in the future. The food was nightmare!

Ruben rulez!
Anyway, my guess was wrong, Clay lost the contest and Ruben took the crown of
Kelly Clarkson, became the American Idol 2003. My mom was quite
disappointed about the result 'cos she likes Clay's voice. I'm not upset
about the result, I think both guys are great. Looking forward their debut singles.

Some thoughts about American Idol
It was too bad that Trenyce lost the competition. I thought Joshua Gracin was going to lose the battle this week. Don’t get me wrong that Josh was not good.
Compare to the other finalists in the battle this week, he didn’t perform too good. Josh has a smooth and nice voice but he seems under stress and he moves like a robot. I really like Trenyce. She’s got positive attitude and sweet smile. I think she sings like Whitney Houston.
Kimberly Locke and Ruben Studdard sings like a pro. I like Kimberly’s performance last week, singing Celine Dion’s song, “If you asked me to”. Loved Neil Sedaka’s comment: “ear-delicious” (smile). Couldn’t believe Ruben went to the bottom 2 this week. Looked like Simon did not agree about the result. Josh looked surprised at that time too.
Even he couldn’t believe he promoted to the next round, probably.(?) I guess Clay Aiken is gonna win this competition. Beside his singing skill, he has the attitude of a professional singer. Also, he never goes to the bottom two or three. His yesterday’s performance was fabulous. Rickey Smith was one of my
favourite in the ten finalists; it was too bad he got kicked out so early.
One more highlight in Tuesday’s episode, when Haley appeared in American Idol. The hall was silent and the judges were busy talking on their topics.^_^

Mr. Personality or Miss Personality?
Who’s gonna be the Mr. Personality? A beautiful woman must look for her Mr. Right from a bunch of guys who wear a mask, not judging from their face but their character? I suggest the woman should wear a mask too, it’s much fairer. What was the big problem of a drunken guy played the lap dance or a guy with thin hair. I think the woman, Hayley was quite shallow in the show. But I think the guy who has central-eyes really has problem with his personality. His heart is not with Haley (why should I be in love with you? lol) but a dancer pretended to flirt with him. Anyway, the show was dreadful and the masks were so horrible. However, Will, the millionaire and the man who mind-controls (hehe) were most entertaining part in the show.

A call
Thanks God my friend is still here but heard a bad news.
I got a call from my friend today. My friend just arrived to Toronto yesterday. She lost contact with me for couple months. I was worried if she was infected with SARS because she works in Hong Kong. She told me her friend’s husband was died because infected of SARS. Her friend has one daughter and one baby is going to be delivered soon. Her husband was only 34. I felt so sad and sorry when I heard about the news even though I don’t know the people. Bet everyone must have the same feeling like me.

Get back to my friends
Today is the first time to hang out with my friends since the surgery. I am so glad to see my friends again. One of my friend said I speak smoother and quieter than before, it is true, I don’t argue with that. I still feel the pain while talking, even when coughing, sneezing, or laughing. She said eventhough my voice is softer but I still talk harsh. Did she think I had a character-change surgery?(just joking, my friend, you're great!) I was surprised that one of my friends didn’t know I went to hospital for surgery. I had told her in several emails… she said she never received my emails lately. It was strange that she didn't look surprised or sad soemthing like that. All of my friends were sorry to hear about me and some of them cried. I am not saying this girl is not good, probably she found out after the surgery.
I felt very tired after the dinner but I had a great time with them tonight.
I also received some calls from my friends and relatives. Thanks for calling me. I didn't feel good while talking with them but I was touched.

I'm back
Finally I've got my energy recovered so I could update my journal. I emailed my friends and relatives and told them not to worry about me anymore. The surgery was successful; however, I still need to come back to my doctors for follow-ups and further treatments. Here I want to thanks my mom’s care and patience, she stays by my side since she came back from U.K., her mother’s funeral. Also my father and brother, their tolerance towards my temper.^_^;
Also thanks my brother, he got me the new Harry Potter DVD which was released on April 11.

I miss you, Grandma
Good things happen together, bad things also happen together. In the morning today, when I was still on the bed. I got a phone call,
my mother picked up the phone, but I had sensed something bad. My guess was right. I came down to the sitting room, saw my parents'
face were pale. Well, they were back to normal again since they knew about my illness. They looked so sad, especially my
mother, then I found out that my grandma has just passed away. She left the world to God while she was sleeping; well, the news was
sad to us but I feel happy for my grandma, at least she didn't have to suffer any pain. I will miss you a lot, grandma.

SARS, a terrible term
SARS has been spreading so fast since last month. When I came to a Chinese restaurant today, I
saw there were not many people that I could count. Am I too brave or stipud? Some people
just said you'll get infected very easy if you go into Asian stores/restaurants. I just laugh at it. The SARS has already
affected the Chinese Business community. I see there're not many people in the stores and restaurants. But the owners were
innocent. I bet that they're more scared than us.

Bad Weather
Today, the streets were so slippy just like yesterday, even worse I think. I fell down yesterday and my ankle was
hurt a little bit. I saw there are many car accidents occured today. My friend told me there was a man near her workplace
fell down the ground and he has been sent to hospital. "Everyone hates ice rain"!!

April Fool's Day
Today is Fool's Day. But I heard a bad news that an ever-famous Asian
celebrity(actor/singer), Lesile Cheung has passed away. He was my idol. I
thought my dad was joking to me. Lesile left a note that he was suffered by some
emotional problems. He then jumped off a hotel from 24th floor. I was so shocked
and speechless when I heard the news... he wasn't my favorite actor/singer but
he was a talented artist. The news is still so unbelievable. Many fans thought
it was a joke, but why people want to play joke with "death"? Anyway,
it will be a miss in HK and Asian entertainment world.

New Year Fever
I
watched Catch Me If You Can with my friends in the New Year Eve, which was a great movie. But my friends said it was okay.
Never mind, we had dinner at downtown. We chatted until 11:00 then we walked to Nathan Philip Square for countdown event. Actually,
we ever planned to have countdown in a bar, at last, we still went to NPS. Well, it was fun. We both hugged together, and made wish
for a better life in the new year.
