Water
is clean, Water
is clear, |
This
is the poem my friend, Joey wrote to me on my graduation album.
In spring, 1994, I received a call from my mom.
She said my friend, Joey committed suicide.
I was heart broken for the sudden.
I have known her since kindergarten.
We went into the same kindergarten and elementary school.
She is one of my best friends at all time.
She was like my big sister; she took care of me a lot. |
It’s
been almost ten years since she died, but I still miss her.
When I was listening to Josh Groban’s “To Where You Are”, I
know it is the song for me and Joey.
I cried when I was listening to the song.
The lyrics and music touched my heart.
I believe Joey can hear the song and the message from up above.
Here are the songs I want to tribute my friend, Joey. One is
"To Where You Are" by Josh Groban and the other by Good
Charlotte's "Hold On". "Hold On" reminds the
people who want to commit suicide, they must think about the people around
them, who really care and love them. |
Joey's
Quote:
This is the most beautiful Christmas card I have given out, this is for
you, because you’re my best friend.” |
To
Where You Are
Music: Richard Marx
Lyrics: Linda Thompson
Vocal: Josh Groban
Who can say for certain
Maybe you are still here
I feel you're all around me
Your memories so clear
Deep in the stillness
I can hear you speak
Your still an inspiration
Can it be?
And you are watching over me from up above
Beyond the distant star
I wish upon tonight
To see you smile
If only for awhile to know you're there
A breath away's not far
To where you are
Here inside my dream
And isn't faith believing
All power can't be seen
Just one beat away
I cherish all you gave me
Everyday
Watching me from up above
That angels breathe
And that love will live on and never leave
Beyond the distant star
I wish upon tonight
To see you smile
If only for awhile
To know you're there
A breath away's not far
To where you are
A breath away's not far
To where you are
Hold On
By Good Charlotte
This world, this world is
cold
But you don't, you don't have to go
You're feeling sad you're feeling lonely
And no one seems to care
Your mother's gone and your father hits you
This pain you cannot bare
But we all bleed the same way as you do
And we all have the same things to go thru
Hold on...if you feel like letting go
Hold on...it gets better than you know
Your days you say they're way too long
And your nights you can't sleep at all (hold on)
And you're not sure what you're waiting for
But you don't want to know more
And you're not sure what you're waiting for but you don't want to know more
But we all bleed the same way as you do
And we all have the same things to go through
Hold on...if you feel like letting go
Hold on...it gets better than you know
Don't stop looking you're one step closer
Don't stop searching it's not over...hold on
What are you looking for?
What are you waiting for?
Do you know what you're doing to me?
Go ahead...what are you waiting for?
Hold on...if you feel like letting go
Hold on...it gets better than you know
Don't stop looking you're one step closer
Don't stop searching it's not over...
Hold on...if you feel like letting go
Hold on...it gets better than you know...hold on
